Welcome to the website of the Dynamic Systems Group at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (GSD-UAB). Our research focuses on the theory of dynamical systems and its connections with other areas of mathematics. We are interested in the qualitative and quantitative study of discrete and continuous dynamical phenomena, combining rigorous mathematical analysis with the exploration of new problems and applications. - (2026-07-23) The group will have a PhD position associated with the grant PID2025-168432NB-I00. UAB is expected to open its general application process in the first days of September. At the moment, we have no further information regarding the application procedure or the required documentation.
- (2026-07-20) The Jacobian Conjecture was disproved yesterday by the discovery of an explicit counterexample in dimension 3.
