Abstract:

We present the study of the motion of a charged particle under axisymmetric gravitational and electromagnetic forces. A global bifurcation chart of equatorial phase-portraits, including the stability of equilibria with respect to out of equatorial plane perturbations is presented. The out-of-plane stability of separatrices and nearby periodic orbits which appear on the equatorial invariant plane is analyzed. Now, we study the collisions and escape solutions.

This study is a collaboration with Clodoaldo Grotta-Ragazzo and Claudio Vidal.
