Abstract:

Work in progress in collaboration with Sylvie Ruette.

In this seminar we will discuss the possible sets of periods for the continuous maps from the space $sigma$ (a circle with in interval attached at a single point) to itself of degree one. We will see that the expected results work partially but we will also present some really unexpected examples.
