Existence and uniqueness of limit cycles for generalized φ-laplacian Liénard equation

Abstract

In this talk it will be present some results over the study on the limit cycles for differential equations that could be written in the following way:
(φ(x′))′+f(x)ψ(x′)+g(x)=0.
The techniques used in our work introduce some differences from the study of the classical Liénard-type equations. For example, a non-differentiable compactification is very useful in our work.

This is a joint work with Pedro J. Torres (Universidad de Granada) and Joan Torregrosa.
