Abstract
Lorenz maps appear as simplified model for two-dimensional return maps associated to the flow of the Lorenz equations. In this talk, I will discuss the characterization of renormalization and -limit set, and relationship between them. I will also give some examples such as piecewise linear Lorenz map, construction of countable set whose -th derived set is empty, and Lorenz map with wild attractor.Location Centre de Recerca Matemàtica
