Abstract

The main part of the talk will be devoted to survey on the Lyapunov and the upper Lyapunov exponents and their properties at a basic level.
In the last part of the talk we will discuss from the point of view of the theory, about several the methods found in the literature used to check the non-chaoticity of systems forced quasiperiodically (for example when studying strange non-chaotic attractors).
