Abstract

Normal forms of ordinary differential equations near a stationary point were introduced by Poincare and Dulac in order to classify stationary points and to obtain a tool for the local analysis of non-elementary stationary points. The talk will mainly focus on properties of equations in normal form, which implies certain symmetries, their reduction and possible linearization. Some computational aspects will also be mentioned
