Abstract

In this talk we will describe the structure of the set of periods for tree maps and we will give a rough idea of the proof of this result. For completeness (and to fix ideas) Sharkovskii′s and Badwin′s Theorems will be summarized, and and the idea of the proof of Sharkovskii′s Theorem will be reviewed.
