Abstract

Let me bet 50:1 that a random quadratic system has at least one limit cycle. Is that a fair bet? In this talk, we will provide a measure of the frequency of the different structurally stable quadratic systems including also measures of frequencies of nodes and focus, and limit cycles. All this based in a previous work which classified all those systems, a Monte Carlo method, and the help of P4.
