Abstract
The first part of the talk will be devoted to the problem of local classification of singular curves. The second part is the local contact algebra introduced by V. Arnol´d in 1999: when classifying singular curves in a contact space certain "ghost" invariants appear. The last part of the talk is a simple explanation of these ghost invariants using a recently obtained far-going generalization of the Darboux-Givental´s theorem on invariants of submanifolds of a contact manifold.Location UAB - Dept.
