Abstract:

The Denjoy-Wolff theorem is a very important result in the areas of Complex Analysis and Complex Dynamics. In this talk we will present different proofs of the theorem and discuss its connection to other significant results. We will also see some of the more recent variations and stronger versions of the theorem. Finally, we will give some of its applications in Complex Dynamics.
