Abstract
For transcendental functions with bounded set of singular values, under some geometric assumption on the tracts it has been shown that the set of escaping points consists of curves, called rays, endowed with a useful symbolic dynamics. When the geometry is too bad to have curves, it is possible to construct more general unbounded sets, still with symbolic dynamic, called dreadlocks. We show that periodic dreadlocks land and that points in hyperbolic sets are .'landing points' of dreadlocks. This is joint work with Lasse Rempe-Gillen. D. Schleicher has indepedently announced the accessibility of repelling orbits in the case where rays exist, in joint work with his student.
