Abstract

In this talk we will explore the paper  `Dynamics of a family of Chebyshev-Halley type methods' by A. Cordero, J. Torregrosa and P. Vindel.  We will see how Chebyshev-Halley methods are related to the dynamics of a family of degree 4 rational maps and present the results and tools used in this paper.
