Abstract:
Thurston proved the "No Wandering Triangle Theorem", which states the non-existence of wandering non-precritical branch points of induced maps on quadratic topological Julia sets. Blokh and Oversteegen proved that the No Wandering triangle Theorem does not extend to higher degrees using laminations. In this talk we approach the existence of wandering triangles from the point of view of perturbations of cubic polynomials such that both critical points are prefixed.
