Abstract:

We discuss a paper by Cheritat in which he generalizes the constructions done in the previous sessions to a certain class of entire maps, showing that every function in this class has a Siegel disk around 0 with a critical point on its boundary. We also explain why the Blaschke product and the Arnold map are the natural models for the quadratic family and the family &lambda z e z , respectively, since they are the maps that come out of Cheritat's general construction.
