Abstract

A lot of problems arising in industrial applications, for instance in mechanical and electromechanical systems, are linked with the study of discontinuous oscillations. We address here the problem of detecting periodic orbits of some 4D relay systems. This is achieved by means of computer algebra methods and the study of semi-algebraic sets.
