Abstract
Problems on planar polynomial vector fields have defied researchers for over a century. These systems are objects of an algebraic, geometric and analytic nature. However, in most research in this area the analytic approach has been the dominating one. In this lecture we present some results obtained by using an integrated approach of algebraic, geometric and numerical methods.Location Centre de Recerca Matemàtica
