Abstract:

In this work we study the planar polynomial differential systems of degree 4 with a uniform isochronous center at the origin. We provide a classification for these systems with respect to the topological equivalence of their global phase portraits in the Poincaré disc. We also investigate the bifurcation of limit cycles from the uniform isochronous centers of those systems, both for continuous and discontinuous polynomial perturbations.
